Bendito Dip & Taxidermy is located on the farm Elandsbosch just outside of Lephalale, Limpopo Province. Our Taxidermy services include the taxidermy of Trophy Full mounts, Shoulder Mounts and Pedestal Mounts. We service South Africa as a whole and also deliver world wide.

Bendito Dip & Taxidermy is owned by Boeta Steenekamp and run by the taxidermy manager Hannes Nel. Boeta has a long association with the game industry and personal hunting experience in Africa, South Africa and Europe. Thus, giving Bendito a sound background for reproducing lifelike African trophies to world class standards.

Bendito has a very experienced team and is ready to assist with any taxidermy need that you may have.

What is the turn around time?

Our turn around time for dip and pack is 6 months from your drop off time and for mounting it is maximum 12 months.

How do I get my animal to you?

We can accept local drop offs in town or at our facility, or receive your trophy heads and hides via commercial shipping.

Should I salt my skin before bringing it to you?

No bring to us frozen or on ice if not possible to bring it shortly after your hunting trip.

How do I get my animals to any other foreign country?

You can let us know which country you would like to send it to and we will gladly advise you on the best possible options we can offer you.

How much of a deposit do I have to pay?

50% deposit and the remaining 50% is due upon completion of your order.

Do you process meat?

No but we can refer you to some of the best people in town who will gladly assist you.

Why do you charge a admin fee?

This is an admin fee which goes towards all the administrative requirements such as tags, tracking documentation and registers.

How often should my mount be cleaned?

We recomend cleaning your mounts every six months.

What if your forms do not fit my mount or I don't like the pose?

This is where our experience and expertise comes into play. We start with a form that closely resembles the size and pose required to match your specific needs. From there, we will cut the form apart and alter the size until it fits your animal. We will then alter the body, leg, and head poses and build it into the animal of your dreams.

What animal types can you taxidermy?

We are a full service taxidermy studio capable of producing quality mounts of any species of animal from the smallest to the largest. We do our best to provide you, the customer, with a pleasant experience by being loyal and serving you honestly and fairly.

Will you cape my animal for me?

Definitely. You can drop the animal off at our facility and we will gladly handle this for you. In fact, unless you are a professional, we prefer that you let us do the caping to ensure the best possible preservation of the hide. Just be sure to keep the animal cold if you won't be able to drop it off within a few days of the kill.

Please note that there is an additional fee of R300.00 for caping.

Do you guarantee your work?

Yes! We are so confident that you will be absolutely amazed by our work that we guarantee it will be free of workmanship defects for as long as you live. Please note, this does not include defects cause by improper storage or care after it has left our control.
